We are currently seeking a IT Agile Coach - ERP to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US).

Job Summary:

Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking an IT Agile Coach who has strong experience in ERP to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Pittsburg, PA (East Coast, US)

This Agile Coach is a solution-oriented leader and trainer that can apply coaching techniques to facilitate and coordinate with excellent communication skills to collaborate and implement ERP at multiple locations in US from scope to realization.  The Agile Coach will be adept at building and maintaining relationships at technical and business levels; customer obsessed, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business.

You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs and balance short & long-term business needs against constraints. The Agile Coach is responsible for coaching the team and leading all aspects of assigned projects and programs from initiation through delivery using relevant iterative/ Agile processes and can work with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams – Business Units, manufacturing/site operations, technology groups and ERP functional teams
  • Mentor and Agile trainer for a team
  • Lead and Coach different teams to implement – ERP Projects
  • Accountable to help the teams apply Scrum, Agile and Lean thinking, and to provide training to the team on Agile process, velocity, quality, impediment removal etc
  • An excellent communicator understanding ERP implementation – Inventory management, procurement, product life cycle, warehouse management, workflow and other relevant process.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects/programs including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk to ensure successful delivery in a very dynamic environment.
  • Proactively manage assigned projects/programs to ensure milestones are achieved within plan including proactively managing execution progress, managing communications, reporting status, managing resources, managing change, removing roadblocks and resolving conflicts. 
  • Ensure projects/programs are properly progressing through the Software Development Lifecycle including proper definition, analysis, design, development, testing, training and deployment.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, customer relationships and third-party vendors as needed, including managing a highly complex political environment
  • Maintain extensive knowledge and expertise in the discipline of program management as well as multiple business processes and/or technical areas.
  • Participate with management and other PMs in establishing best practices in program management methods and tools.
  • Be detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and closing gaps in the product development lifecycle.
  • Present product updates to senior-level stakeholders, welcoming feedback and implementing/driving changes quickly.
  • Lead team to resolve all program/project issues and impediments on a timely manner, effectively communicate, manage expectations and resolve conflicts working closely with team and leadership.
  • Manage multiple product Scrum/work teams (internal, external, & for multiple divisions) in parallel, with regular standups, promoting team collaboration, innovation and quality outcomes.
  • Provide regular status update to the executive Leadership and Management team with constant drive to make improvements to the outcomes.
  • Demonstrate high adaptability and flexibility to take responsibility to support new projects that has priority and as communicated.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or a related field of study, Master’s degree is a plus
  • 5+ years Agile Coach experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience as a Project Manager with experience in ERP (SAP/JDE) integration implementation.
  • Agile/Scrum CSM
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in SAP/JDE supply chain/Manufacturing site Implementation
  • Experience to train/coach teams and organizations in Agile concepts, principles, practices and methods.
  • Experience as Project Manager utilizing Project management methodologies managing Cloud implementations with a focus on effective solutions including other ERPs and complex integrations.
  • Strong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations & facilitate Demo to various levels of management articulating project status, risk mitigations, benefits & financial realizations.
  • Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals & priorities
  • Has strong experience in iterative/agile methodologies, lean budget, managing solution deployments, process improvements, provide training to team.
  • Effective conflict & impediments management in a fast-paced environment, take higher responsibilities working with cross functional team who are working on multiple priorities
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.
