NTT DATA Services currently seeks a ServiceNow Platform Architect to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (US-PA), United States (US).

 

 

The desired individual will stay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies. Provide mentoring and training to peers and colleagues in the organization

 

Job Duties:

• Provides overall technical guidance for ServiceNow platform ensuring overall design complies with best practice, is upgradable and leverages out of box capabilities
• Provides thought leadership regarding optimal utilization of the ServiceNow platform and best practices for development
• Creates and maintains a detailed view of existing architecture
• Designs and implements processes in ServiceNow, including but not limited to Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Service Portal, and ITOM
• Aligns ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap
• Provides architectural controls and analysis of impacts for new requirements
• Identifies opportunities to combine similar solution needs or consolidate existing platforms into the ServiceNow ecosystem
• Provides leadership and participates in vetting new requirements on the ServiceNow platform
• Under general direction, identifies group level challenges, recommends and executes solutions. Solves considerably difficult business problems through both effective use of financial and technology management while leveraging human resource management.
• Designs and implements core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting and third party software integrations
• Performs advanced configurations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports, etc.
• Ensures contractual service support requirements are implemented into ITSM tools and associated processes
• Creates business and technical design specifications for implementation of the ServiceNow Platform
• Reviews proposed design with all customer and internal stakeholders, and leads all technical design meetings
• Coordinate with offshore technical lead to ensure designs meet development guidelines and best practices
• Ensures effective communication and coordination of problem-solving efforts between ITSM strategy, design, development, support and account teams including Service Management and customers and ensure adherence to existing ITSM standard practices and direct the ITSM tools and processes towards continuous improvement
• Works with Project Management team to ensure technical planning details are complete, accurate, and timely

 

Basic Requirements:
• ServiceNow Administrator Certification

• Minimum of 3 years working in ServiceNow Environment
• Minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership role

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similarly complex technical organization
• Scripting (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Jelly) and Rest API experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience acceptable

 

Preferred Sklls:

• ITIL Foundations V3 certification
• Certified ServiceNow Developer Certification
• Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification
• Experience with middleware and discovery technologies
• Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
• Ability to problem solve and work well in complex, ambiguous situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups
