We are currently seeking a Agilist Management Director - Remote to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking an Agile Coach to support a Center of Excellence and function as coach and advisor to NTT DATA and clients. Success within our diverse range of clients requires the ability to adapt and perform in numerous Agile environments. In this position, your role as an Agile Coach will require you to be a strategic partner and thought leader for an organization transitioning to Agile Delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and team members and guide them through their Lean-Agile Adoption
  • Establish and lead Agile Center of Excellence, set guidance, standards and practices needed for successful agile transformation
  • Plan and lead Strategic Agile Transformation tailored to fit the organizational need
  • Utilizing industry best practices; plan and execute custom coaching plan at the Portfolio, Program and Team level
  • DevSecOps industry best practices to include Value Stream Mapping
  • Lead the coaching of multiple, distributed teams collaborating as ARTs
  • Influence at all levels of the organization to help implementing recommended changes
  • Work with strategic partners and stakeholders to implement cultural changes needed for successful agile transformation
  • Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the client
  • Coach RTEs, Product Owners/Managers, Scrum Masters, and team members towards performing at their highest level utilizing Lean-Agile methodologies
  • Perform in various agile roles, including Scrum Master, where needed
  • Coordinate planning and execution of iterative releases driven by the program
  • Prepare and deliver progress metrics to internal and client teams using effective communication techniques
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate all scrum ceremonies as needed
  • Perform hands-on project work, including analysis, design and change management, as needed by individual projects
  • Facilitate meetings and discussion as needed for diverse and senior groups of government stakeholders and multiple contractor subject matter experts
  • Responsible for creating/updating custom SAFe training material for clients as necessary
  • Assist with development of education & outreach materials and other external communications as directed by NTT DATA leadership

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT full development life cycle, SAFe, and DevOps experience including Value Stream Mapping 
  • 5 years of SAFe experience required
  • 2+ years of experience with Scrum/Kanban Methodologies
  • 10+ years leading transformation initiatives 
  • 3+ years of management consulting and pre-sales experience developing client strategies
  • Agile coaching certification required
  • Must be willing to travel 25% under normal operating conditions post-COVID 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals utilizing strategic partnership
  • Experience with Agile delivery programs
  • Experience in assisting teams write epics/user stories, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, including comprehending business needs, solving complex problems, and capturing business requirements To convert them into Backlog items
  • Flexibility to work with teams, individuals, and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Experience working on Federal programs that are of high priority, visibility, and public-facing
  • Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to work under minimal supervision, act independently and exercise an expert level of decision-making capability
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to produce polished written products

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, or other Agile Certification 
  • Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4 or higher)
  • Certified SAfe Agilist
  • ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching
