NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Content Security Analysis Advisor to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance of IT Security Policies - HIPPA, SOX, PCI-DSS, GLBA
  • Leads or provides direction for information security projects.
  • Manages, troubleshoots, and configures security devices such as McAfee Web Gateway, Checkpoint, Trend Micro InterScan Web Security, Blue Coat  Proxy SG. Cisco ASA. McAfee IPS, ACL, NAT, etc.
  • Utilize security tools – Content filtering tools and packet analysis tools - to resist outside attacks, viruses, and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Provides complex analysis of potential risk to information security and recommends possible solutions.
  • Recommends and implements changes to procedures and systems to enhance information systems security.
  • Provides information security support to a larger organization.
  • Apply High Reliability organization principles Preoccupation with Failure, Reluctance to Simplify, Sensitivity to Operations, Commitment to Resilience
  • Provide in-depth security oversight for change, patch, and policy management processes.
  • Manage and audit server and network monitoring to insure system operations and security standards.
  • Work on-call rotation as scheduled to maintain 24x7 live IT environment and see tickets through to the end.
  • Mentors junior information security personnel and other system administrators and application support.
  • Assists in development of information security strategies.
  • Creates and maintains information security documentation.
  • Use creative approaches to identify vulnerabilities that are commonly missed in security assessments.
  • Reviews, prioritizes and recommends information security improvements as they relate to the achievement of the client’s business goals and objectives.
  • Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing ecommerce and life critical programs.

 

 

Basic Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and At least
  • 4+ years of professional information security experience; or Combined education and relevant IT
  • 1 year of experience in Content Security
  • 1 year of experience in Network Security
  • 1 year of experience in Monitoring and Detection Analysis
  • 1 year of experience with Incident Response practices
  • 1 year of experience with Cyber Intelligence Analysis

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Preferred Certifications: GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), or (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CCNA or Security +.
  • Strong security knowledge (access control) of one or more applicable security technologies / platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of information security processes, response procedures, and various attack methods used for information theft or network intrusion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Strong oral, written, and communication /presentation skills to a broad range of employees.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PERL, VBS, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of ISSA ‘Generally Accepted Information Security Practices’ and NIST SP 800-14
  • Experience working with various security methodologies and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO and ITIL processes, tools, and compliance adherence utilized for system management, problem reporting, change management and support tools, ITL Foundations Certification a plus.
  • Hands-on experience on various Proxy Layer7 technologies.
  • Knowledge of network Layer3 (Internet Protocol) protocols, Layer4 (TCP), and understanding of Layer 5-7 application layer communications: Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)/1.1 [RFC 2616], Transport Layer Security (TLS) RFC 2246 and subsequent HTTP/TLS RFCs.
  • Hands-on experience on packet analysis inspection tools.
  • Experience variety of operating systems (Unix/Linux, Windows, OSX) and open source computer network tools.
  • Experience on computer network profiling techniques, methodologies, and both commercial and open source inspection tools like:, Qualys, Nmap, Burp, ZAP etc.
  • Experience providing analysis and trending of security log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices.
  • Experienced knowledge of systems (i.e., server, desktop) configurations as they relate to system security.
  • Experienced ability to contribute to cost- benefit analysis to justify investment in security controls to mitigate risks.
  • Strong knowledge of systems software/hardware, networks and operating systems.
  • Knowledge and experience configuring and implementing a diverse array of technical security solutions, such as IPS/IDS, VPN, Firewall & Anti-Malware.
