NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Information "Security Project Manager" to join our team in "Plano Texas" US. 


The Information Security Project Manager (PM) manages information security transition projects from initiation through delivery utilizing Information Security Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that are in various locations around the world.  The ideal candidate will have strong command skills and demonstrated experience leading a team of Information Security experts and interacting with senior level executives to efficiently transition managed security services to Steady State.  In this role, the Security Transitions PM collaborates with stakeholders across the organization such as account teams, information security SMEs, and customer to build and execute suitable transition project plans to transition and deliver managed security services from the customer to Steady State.  


Basic Qualifications
• 6 to 8 years of experience in information security experience, contract compliance, and strong knowledge of security standards
• 4 to 6 years of experience in project management experience including strong knowledge of Project Management Methodologies (PMM) or Project Management Institute (PMI) PMBOK-based project management methodology

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Engaging security transition team members and providing guidance on a regular basis during assigned project effort




• Managing information security transition projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project; transition projects involve implementing security services in new or existing customer environments
• Engaging security transition team members and providing guidance on a regular basis during assigned project effort
• Coordinating and conducting project related meetings and reviews to ensure projects are on track and completed successfully
• Communicating and interacting with project stakeholders and senior leadership on project status; escalating issues to project stakeholders
• Monitoring schedule deviations and assisting in the development of alternative methods for corrective action at the project level; Change Requests and Risk/Exception Letter creation
• Ensuring all transition project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis
• Utilizing relevant project management tools and applications; MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, SharePoint
• Understanding and managing customer business needs and expectations related to information security and validate to transition related documentation; Cost Model, Solution Deck, accompanying SOW and/or Contract
• Effectively communicating security concepts to team members, account personnel, project participants
• Documenting, sharing, and discussing lessons learned from transition projects with the transition team members
• Identifying, reviewing and recommending improvements to the transition procedures as they relate to the achievement of successful completion of transition projects
• Provide service improvement opportunities to streamline delivery method and approach

• Strong problem and conflict resolution skills


• Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience or graduate degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience


• CISSP or CISM certification 
• PMP certification
