We are currently seeking a Solution Architect to join our team remotely in the United States.

As a Solution Architect at NTT DATA, you will develop and execute solutions to digitally transform Mainframe applications. Understanding both legacy and cutting-edge technologies, you will solicit needs from the client and figure out how to efficiently perform this migration while still allowing clients to conduct mission critical business.

Many of our clients’ most important applications still reside on legacy systems, creating waste and inefficiency. You will help eliminate these and provide additional value to our clients by harnessing modern technology and your technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Support sales and delivery teams in designing replatforming solutions using NTT DATA UniKix Rehosting Software
• Work with clients to develop migration plans that maximize ROI and deliver business value
• Support feasibility, ROI analysis, POC design for replatforming Mainframe workloads to the cloud using NTT DATA UniKix Software.        
• Act as technical SME and product evangelist for internal stakeholders and clients.

Preferred Experience:

• Expert knowledge of IBM zOS-based systems, mainframe technologies, and large, complex, mainframe application systems.
• Knowledge of mainframe modernization solutions, including replatforming.
• Working knowledge of cloud migration and cloud infrastructure.  
• Expert presentation and communication skills.
• Able to present high-level business case information as well as detailed technical and process information.    

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience with IBM zOS-based systems, mainframe technologies, and large, complex, mainframe application systems
• 2+ years experience designing and implementing mainframe modernization and mainframe migration solutions
• 2 years in a solutions architect role that required technical and business case presentations to wide range of stakeholders

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $110,400- $245,400. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
