We are currently seeking a VP, Cloud Services to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).


  • Vice President Cloud Delivery Leader

    Be part of team of building out a new delivery organization at NTT Data Services for Cloud Services!   


A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks an accomplished Vice President to lead this Cloud  delivery organization on a global basis. The Vice President will oversee all aspects of the Cloud delivery organization:  supporting opportunity pursuits by defining and estimating cloud service solutions, managing, architecting, developing and implementing cloud technical solutions and providing cloud operations managed services. Targeted clients will be Fortune 1000 companies across all verticals. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in the Cloud services industry including cloud native development and modernization, cloud integration as well as application landscape migration to public cloud platforms.


To fulfill the requirements of this Executive opening, the individual performing the position should have exceptional communication skills with C-Level executives. The ideal candidate has significant experience working with Azure, AWS or GCP platforms, ensuring client delivery teams are effective and a successful track record of bringing in Cloud solutions business through new and current relationships.


Preferred locations include Dallas, Charlotte, Nashville or Chicago.  Would consider Atlanta or NYC.


Specific responsibilities of the new Vice President will be: 

  • Define innovative and efficient cloud native development and modernization, cloud integration, cloud migration and cloud managed services delivery methods, processes and tools
  • Contribute to account plan formulation with client account teams
  • Develop customized solutions to solve client business problems
  • Demonstrate success as an executive leader in customer relationship building, management and delivery issue resolution
  • Work with interdisciplinary account teams (Business Development, Finance, and Recruiting)
  • Oversee Cloud native development and operations with offshore delivery component, ensuring successful delivery performance for the unit
  • Effectively manage multiple contract engagements
  • Attract, develop, and retain Cloud staff across the spectrum of responsibilities. 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or computer science. Advanced degree desirable.
  • Typically requires 12 or more years of experience in IT Services Firms and consulting working with Cloud services.
  • 10+ years of management experience at a global or national level.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to identify and develop client requirements with Cloud services.   
  • Must be able to negotiate large, complex solutions with senior client levels.
  • Strong communication and writing skills are required.
  • Effective people skills are a priority as well. Regular travel (including some international) may be required. 
  • Negotiated and closed large complex technology solution deals


Basic required qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of experience developing Cloud solutions within IT Services Firms and/or consulting
  • 10+ years of management experience at a global or national level overseeing Cloud growth.
