We seek a Vice President of Sales to lead our Healthcare Provider Sales organization. This individual will report to the President of Healthcare Provider and have responsible for leading the Healthcare Provider New Logo Sales organization and oversight for related business development and marketing functions.  This position calls for a passionate individual to lead business development and sales functions for the Healthcare Provider vertical industry organization focused on new logo sales and existing account growth.  This individual will partner with other NTT Data Healthcare, Solutions, and Corporate Leaders to carry out sales strategy focused on growing market share in this market vertical.    

 

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, evaluate, and promote continuous development of Business Development staff and senior Sales Executive team (10 - 15)
  • Generate, contribute, track, and manage new sales and account plan formulation
  • Engage interdisciplinary account teams (BD, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Recruiting, etc. to ensure successful workflow process and support
  • Act as senior resource to Sales Executive team to include meeting with prospective, existing and former clients to assist with sales process when needed
  • Promote solution-selling, value add techniques to identify business needs, develop customized solutions, and establish “business partner” relationships at customer’s C-Suite
  • Manage sales tracking, attainment of sales goals and reporting of sales goals and results
  • Promote an entrepreneur, hunting sales environment focused on increasing market share and continued brand recognition

 

Requirements:

  • 15 plus years of I.T. Services/Consulting industry experience to include specific leadership  responsibilities (hire, measure, develop, etc.) for a National Sales team/organization
  • Healthcare Provider industry knowledge with solid understanding of industry trends, solutions, and business drivers
  • Background in developing and successfully managing sales organization strategy resulting in enhanced market penetration and increase market share
  • Experience building, managing, and measuring a full cycle, virtual/geographically dispersed sales organization with annual TCV in excess of $120M
  • Demonstrate a history of building strategic relationships, selling and closing complex deals focused on demonstrating value-add solutions across customer’s enterprise
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • Position requires regular travel which could exceed 60%
