NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Configuration Analyst - Healthcare to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).

 

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Providing subject matter expertise and requirements analysis related to benefit plan and reimbursement configuration change requests to design configuration for optimal claim auto-adjudication and accuracy
  • Leading discussions and business requirements definition with internal and external customers for change requests and project requiring configuration services
  • Driving the timely and accurate completion of configuration change requests, maintaining proper documentation and effective control standards of system configuration changes
  • Creating, documenting and executing test cases based on implemented system configuration and customer’s expected results
  • Develop and maintain policy and process artifacts for monitoring and tracking configuration and system changes
  • Mentoring and guiding other team members on the subject matter to develop broader knowledge within the team, including but not limited to configuration and health plan domain expertise, business rules, and business processes

 

Requirements for this role include:

  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare or managed care organization that required knowledge of at least one of the following: membership, benefits, provider contracts & pricing, medical reviews, referral authorizations and code review and fee schedules.
  • 3 years of Configuration experience that required you to review claims rules and workflows in Amisys, Facets, HealthRules, Metavance, or a similar system in a managed health care environment.
  • 3 years of experience that required a knowledge of healthcare insurance policy concepts including In Network, Out of Network providers, Deductible, Coinsurance, Co-pay, Out of Pocket, Maximum inside limits, and Exclusions, State Variations.
  • 3 years of experience in a role that required you to be self-driven and work independently with minimal supervision
  • 1 year of experience where you mentored team members to increase industry or functional process knowledge.
