We are currently seeking a Project Manager or Srcum Master - Grade 11 to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

You will lead and scale engineering / quality engineering teams delivering digital solutions, define and drive engineering practices, test automation, quality platforms, and operational excellence across digital transformation programmes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the digital engineering organisation: set direction, roadmap, metrics, and align with business stakeholders.
  • Manage and grow teams of engineering/quality professionals: hiring, mentoring, setting goals, coaching technical leads.
  • Drive quality engineering practices (automation, continuous integration/delivery, test frameworks) and enforce engineering excellence.
  • Oversee large-scale digital engineering programmes: ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions on time, on budget, meeting SLAs and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with architecture, product, operations, DevOps, and business teams to integrate digital engineering into overall lifecycle.
  • Establish and optimise metrics, dashboards, KPIs (defect density, automation coverage, velocity, production incidents) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage budget, resource planning, vendor/partner relationships, technical risk mitigation.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, engineering maturity, automation-first mindset, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Typically 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering / digital engineering roles, with at least some in leadership / management capacity; for example listings indicate 6–10 yrs minimum for management roles.
  • Strong track record of leading large teams in engineering, test/quality, automation, agile/digital delivery environments.
  • Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices: CI/CD, automation frameworks, agile/DevOps, cloud-native, test strategies.
  • Experience managing budgets, metrics, KPIs, vendor/outsourcing relationships.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication with senior business/technical leaders, ability to bridge business and engineering.
  • Preferably experience in a services environment (IT services / consulting) or large digital transformation engagements.
