We are currently seeking a [[Axway developer/Engineer]] to join our team in [[Quincy]], [[Massachussets]], [[US]].

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for design, development and implementation using Axway MFT and Axway API/AMPLIFY tools.
  • Build reusable code. routes and libraries for future use.
  • Understands the requirements, develops and evaluates alternative systems solutions.
  • Participate in the Weekly/Daily status call with the client to discuss the action items on outstanding Incidents, Service requests and changes for the week.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Create and maintain project related artifacts as needed by the project.
  • Update Integration Lead/ Manager apprised of all Interface related activities, issues,
  • and risks.
  • Documents software systems according to NTT DATA 's system standards, policies and procedures - Specifies, implements, and maintains systems.
  • Codes, tests and Documents software programs for systems of moderate complexity as per the requirements specifications.
  • Consistently applies fundamental knowledge of one technical discipline / programming languages for design specifications.
  • Applies in Basic knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging simple applications. - Substantive knowledge of coding, testing and debugging.
  • Work with production support team for existing systems including troubleshooting, fixing bugs, and implementing enhancements
  • Work with other groups and co-ordinate with the onsite team - Work with application teams to help them implement the solution.
  • Providing technical expertise to resolve the issues Work with different stakeholders like Onshore Project Manager, Architects, Testers, Environment teams
  • Provide support and maintenance of existing systems during business hours, and after hours as needed, on a rotating basis.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with Onsite, Offshore and nearshore team members.
  • Interpret specifications and develop/unit testing Interfaces/routes on EDIFECS
  • Support System Integration testing (SIT), User Acceptance testing (UAT) and Performance testing of interfaces.


Minimum Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science
  • 5 years of hands-on experience on Axway MFT (ST, CFT, CG/FM) OR API Gateway/AMPLIFY    
  • 5 years of experience creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures and Functions.
  • 5 years of Javascript experience
  • 5 years of experience working with XML, XSD, WSDL, and XQuery.
  • 5 years of experience working on the Linux platform scripting.


Nice to have, but not required:

  • Experience with - Technical requirements document, process flow diagrams, and deployment and user operations guides
  • Experience with Python, Groovy, JSON and some scripting knowledge including Bash, Perl scripts
  • Axway - Designing and implementing APIs
  • Unix, Linux, or Windows Experience
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle process
  • Candidates will need to be able to perform hands-on technical development to implement policies with API tool.
  • Working experience using web services and API’s built on SOAP and REST and using XML or JSON
  • Strong client facing and leadership skills
  • CI/CD domains (Git, Python, Jenkins, SaaS API Management, etc.)
  • Developing, deploying, or administering cloud-native applications
  • Good Understanding of healthcare EDI transactions is a plus
  • Good Communication Skills, Troubleshooting and Analytical skills
  • Good understanding/exposure to overall API-Management concepts and fundamentals
  • Experience in defining overall API architecture, API implementations, integration, and deployment of API management platforms
  • Should be self-motivated, self-starter with clear communication skills who thrives working in a team environment
  • Healthcare domain knowledge
