We are currently seeking a Sr Solutions application Architect, Cloud Native Application Development to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Application Transformation Solutions Architect

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) 

·         PreSales Solution Architecture: Work with clients and pursuit teams to understand their objectives and requirements to scope and define solutions

·         Service Development:  Partner with product management and delivery to provide technical leadership for the development of new services, capabilities, methodologies, and IP

·         Thought Leadership & Evangelism: Represent the practice in internal sales forums, client briefings and industry events

·         Proof of Concepts: Lead internal and client PoCs and Pilots

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

·         Minimum 8+ years of application development experience as an application architect, software engineer, or solution architect

·         3+ years solution or application architecture experience scoping and estimating projects or developing proposals

·         Full stack Java or .NET architecture and development experience

·         Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD toolchain automation

·         Cloud native and microservices architecture experience

·         Strong English communication and executive presentation development & delivery skills

Travel:  Travel should be less than 25%  

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have; (But not a must)

·         Experience with Domain Driven Design and Test Driven Development

·         Experience transforming monolithic applications to microservices and serverless

·         Consulting experience within a Digital consultancy or systems integrator

·         Experience transforming product or software development practices to become more agile

·         DevSecOps and CI/CD toolchain implementation or automation experience

·         Experience developing or modernizing applications on a public cloud, Kubernetes, or PaaS platform such as PCF or Openshift

·         User experience design

·         Any of the following: machine learning, artificial intelligence, IoT, analytics, big data
