NTT DATA Services currently seeks a 2nd Line Support to join our team in Remote, Zuid-Holland (NL-ZH), Netherlands (NL).

 

 

This role is based in Dordrecht, very close to Rotterdam

 

Job Description :

 

This role is based on a customer site as part of a small team providing second line support for Desktop/Laptop computers, applications, and related technology. Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve complex problems. The position utilizes one-on-one support to end users and remote diagnostic tools. The employee will also be responsible for driving team performance on a daily basis and ensuring that all incidents and IMACs are dealt with in line with service targets and to meet customer expectations and will be the local escalation point for any issues. Duties of the Job • Day to day management of local resources • Drive service improvements • Mentor site staff to improve team performance. • Assists customers with the installation, configuration, and support of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines. • Perform 2nd line hardware diagnostics • Specialized knowledge to analyse and solve complex problems. • Trains and orients customers on use of hardware and software. • Recommends and / or performs upgrades on systems to ensure compliancy. • Complete IMAC requests • Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases for technical projects. • Ensure all documentation is completed. • Ensure that all defined standards are met.

 

Knowledge and Skills required :

 

• Proven Experience in supporting computer hardware • Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and software • Ability to direct and mentor Team members • Logical approach to problem solving • Self-motivated • Excellent Customer service skills • Clear Verbal and written communication • Good organisational and planning skills • Able to effectively handle pressures and challenges.
