NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Lead Development Operations Engineer to join our team in Sacramento, California (US-CA), United States (US).

 

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The Lead Dev Ops Engineer will provide leadership, support, and visioning for the establishment of a modern, maintainable, and automated Dev Ops environment.
  • The Lead Dev Ops engineer will have excellent operating knowledge of the following concepts:
    • continuous integration,
    • continuous deployment,
    • automated testing,
    • scripting of server configuration/deployment,
    • repeatable process automation. 
  • The lead is responsible for setting the goals and direction of the Dev Ops team.
  • Additionally, the lead will provide guidance and or support for the administration and maintenance of operating systems and tools to maintain availability of Dev Ops systems.

 

 Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with UNIX based system administration including the following tasks
    • Monitoring and tuning performance on UNIX based systems
    • Network Administration
    • Maintaining system logs
    • Hardware/software licenses and agreements
    • Server configuration scripting
  • Experience on more than three agile software projects
  • 3+ years of experience with automated software testing
  • 3+ years of experience with Continuous Deployment Tools
  • 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration Tools
  • 3+ years of experience with Continuous Monitoring Tools
  • 3+ years working in an organization utilizing continuous integration and deployment practices to deploy incremental changes to a system
  • 4+ years of software development and design in an agile environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Git
  • 3 + years’ experience developing and maintaining the following:
    • Roadmaps
    • Backlogs
    • Measurable success criteria
  • Proficiency in the configuration and use of the following tools:
    • Selenium
    • Ansible
    • Docker
    • Jenkins
    • DataDog
