NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Technical Services Associate - Level 2 to join our team in San Joaquin de Flores Heredia, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

 

 

Technical Services - Level 2: Provides IT support to solve problems and create solutions that leverage technology to meet CITI business needs in a Semi-Senior role. This service is on-site and may include the following activities:

·         Software installation for ATM
·         Inventory of miscellaneous assets
·         Support of project activities
·         Support in activities in the areas of CRS (shutdowns, wiring arrangements, etc.)
·         Support remote activities requiring the presence of an on-site technician to supervise and support external activities with the support of an expert designated by CITI or one of the CITI partners to carry out activities on computers or electronic equipment such as Such as telephone communications, switches, routers, modems, to accompany partners and suppliers, etc. These activities will be coordinated and supervised by CITI. CITI will be responsible for the results of the tasks performed.
·         Remote software distribution (CITI application and systems) for software installation, configuration and upgrade and update patches on computers.
·         Support crisis room (war room) either during the execution of the entire activity or only in specific activities such as execution and post-activity. This modality will have a technician on the site of the activity with the support given by the remote connection equipment.

Job Level Specific Duties

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots Level 1 problems encountered with personal computer hardware, software and peripherals.
• Answers the help desk line and responds to users� requests regarding computer systems.
• Acknowledges receipt of all user requests within defined service levels.
• Initiates service orders (tickets) for all user requests, assisting users as necessary to provide appropriate information.
• Maintains user information and documentation.
• Participates in ensuring that customer requests via the ticketing system are managed to closure.
• Delivers results in support of achieving the organization�s Service Level Agreements.

Typical Years of Experience

• Typically requires 0-2 years relevant experience.

Minimum Education and Certifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Skills

• Ability to develop business relationships and communicate effectively with the user community.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of the fundamentals of network, server, and desktop administration, installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Applies basic understanding of customer service techniques as required to address problems with PC based tools and products.
