NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Java Developer to join our team in Seaside, California (US-CA), United States (US).

 

 

 

NTT DATA is looking for a mid-level Java/J2EE developer to provide software development and sustainment support for multiple applications in support of the customers Personnel Accountability environment. The mid-level Java/J2EE developer will work as a part of a software development team and shall enhance and support production applications and create new applications as the need arises. Work to be accomplished will focus primarily on the following systems and their components:

  • 250 JAVA OLTP Web applications that access data from PDR and PDR-Related Subject DBs via a customer data access tools like CUF, DOMALNS EJB (legacy), DOAP (legacy) or by direct access using JDBC or JPA. 
  • 200 System to system customers that are registered and secured to receive specific data from the customer via a standard XML format from a common JAVA Web service called Real-Time Broker Service (RBS) and Batch Broker Service(BBS) accessing ADR. Most customers are outside the customer environment but some internal applications and systems use RBS to get person and personnel data. 
  • Java web applications that provide standard reports on personnel, health care enrollment and other HR related data by accessing COGNOS stored reports. 
  • File transfer from client personnel and other sources who send daily, weekly, and monthly transactions to the customer. 
  • Mainframe applications for data preparation (ETL), data analysis, reporting and distribution of information sent from client personnel and other sources, in addition to reporting on information provided only by OLTP business operations via the Point in Time Extract (PLTE), e.g., personnel family members. 

Required Qualifications:

 

Must possess an active SECRET clearance

Must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of Java/J2EE program language experience.

Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
