NTT DATA Services currently seeks a ITIL Service Desk Coordinator to join our team in Topeka, Kansas (US-KS), United States (US).



Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in the following ITIL ITSM areas: Incident Management, Change Management, Service Management and Problem Management.
  • Excellent organizational and team building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to inspire others to find creative solutions to challenging situations or problems
  • A strong understanding of technology
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Creative, results driven, and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated skills in tailoring presentations/communications to varied audiences


Primary Responsibilities


Coordinate and Prioritize incoming service requests from clients (via telephone, email, and other means

  • Assign high prioritized tickets to the appropriate resolver groups and technical staff for resolution
  • Follow-up with technical staff to assess and promote ticket resolution – escalate tickets to other technical resources as needed to ensure successful and timely ticket resolution.
  • Daily assessment of outstanding tickets and follow-up.
  • Communication of Service Management status to customer
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly SLA/Ticket status reports
  • Assist with Internal & external progress bulletins & Flash reports
  • Possible on call duty for out of hours incident management
  • Identify opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and service levels.
  • Improvement action assignment & tracking
