NTT DATA Services currently seeks a DevOps Architect/Developer to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

 

 

Job Duties:

Builds the DevOps pipeline as designed by the DevOps Architect

Supports and maintains the DevOps environments that host the DevOps pipeline

Directs the day-to-day activities of more junior DevOps developers and ensures best practices are being followed

Takes technical ownership of the various DevOps tools in the pipeline, ensuring that their implementation is efficient, versions are updated as necessary, etc.

Works with Project Manager to ensure that deliverables are met in a timely fashion

Works with DevOps Lead to design the end-to-end solution

Conducts Agile and DevOps maturity evaluation

Provides oversight to the complete end-to-end Agile-DevOps solution

Provides support for the business capability solutions/services

Provides business process review and KPI identification

Maintains business capability solutions/services post deployment by measuring and monitoring performance, availability, reliability, testability, scalability, supportability (PARTS) KPIs

Scales systems/services, Agile SDLC, and operations sustainably using continuous-delivery pipeline interoperability and automation, and make actionable recommendations to improve PARTS, monitoring dashboards, and project velocity

 

Experience Required:

 

BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Minimum of 8 years’ development experience in current development language such as: .NET, Java, C#, C, C++, Python, Perl or RubySkills

Excellent oral and written presentation skills

Ability to lead a high caliber staff of technical professionals

Ability to understand client pain points and work with them toward solutions

Ability to react quickly to problems

In-depth knowledge of Agile-DevOps precepts, and the ability to communicate them to the client

In-depth knowledge of existing DevOps tools, and the ability to choose and justify the choice of a particular one for the job at hand
