NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Clinical Archive Systems Engineer to join our Unified Clinical Archive (UCA) team.  Ideally this position will work from our office located in Wallingford, CT.  Alternatively, we will consider remote work options from your home office located within the US.

Role Responsibilities

  • Implements Unified Clinic Archive (UCA) solutions to the enterprise-wide technical requirements of customers
  • Remotely log into the onsite hardware to load, configure, test, and troubleshoot the UCA Application and any other 3rd party applications following UCA’s formal processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues found during the testing phase of the installation
  • Participate in the Transition-to-Support activities as part of project closure
  • Perform remote system upgrades with minimal down time
  • Learn and implement new technologies
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all clients
  • Be able to accurately document system configurations and complete required installation checklists
  • Work closely with Project Management Team to provide detailed status updates to all active installs, be a technical resource at customer meetings, and to provide feedback and escalation when necessary
  • Update CRM system with detailed information pertaining to project status, issues and next steps


  • 5+ years’ experience PACS Basics (workflow), DICOM and HL7 Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting Linux or Unix environments
  • 2+ years’ experience Networking setup and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, SNMP, IPTABLES, DNS, DHCP)
  • 2+ years’ experience Server hardware configuration and troubleshooting
  • 2+ years’ experience Storage hardware configuration and troubleshooting
  • Basic VMWare ESX or other virtualization technology
  • Experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
