We are currently seeking a IV&V Project Manager to join our team in Washington DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

The Project Manager will perform, delegate and manage the activities of the Independent Validation & Verification (IV&V) team, working closely with the client, contracted vendors and business users to collect and analyze information to ensure requirements and business needs are met.

Job Responsibilities include:
•    Primary point of contact for the client; interface with client, vendors, and business users
•    Oversee daily activities of the IV&V team including making assignments and maintaining control over the assignments, schedule, and performance of the project team members 
•    Collaborate with team members to provide subject matter expertise and assistance as applicable
•    Maintain a project schedule and monitor key milestones and deliverables 
•    Manage and report on project issues 
•    Perform review / assessment of project deliverables, project work products, and other activities necessary of an effective IV&V team 
•    Assess project risk and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies applied 
•    Support NTTDAT’s IV&V methodology, process and implementation guidance 
•    Participate in project activities and review and comment on essential project documents to ensure an effective project management process (including, but not limited to risk management, schedule and cost management, change management and issue resolution) is consistent with approved project plans 
•    Monitor outcomes of project controlling activities such as risk identification and mitigation, issue resolution, budget status, change requests affecting scope, etc. to ensure processes are being utilized, are effective, and updated as needed 
•    Prepare or contribute to status reports and agendas for weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings 

Basic Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree 
•    Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the Medicaid or healthcare payer arena
•    Minimum 3 years of experience performing IV&V services for large IT or human services system implementation, integration, or development project 
•    Minimum 3 years of experience with project testing and evaluation services
•    Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

*    Up to 50% travel to client location after COVID restrictions are lifted

Preferred Skills:
•    Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or financial systems and processing
•    Knowledge with application of technologies, such as Cloud Transformation and Agile development
•    Experience performing project management for large system implementation, integration or development project
•    Experience with portfolio and/or program management
•    Experience with government procurement processes
•    Experience in business analysis and working with technical teams
•    Experience conducting executive level meetings, interviews and making presentations
•    Project quality assurance & assessment experience
•    Specific experience in evaluating quality assurance /quality control testing and User Acceptance Testing efforts
•    Ability to apply industry best practices and future state/federal mandates to existing systems
•    Excels at using quantitative data to drive recommendations and decisions
