We are currently seeking a Infrastructure Monitoring Tools Engineer to join our team in Washington (100% REMOTE), District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Infrastructure Monitoring Tools Engineer  


Job Description: 

  • Infrastructure Monitoring Tools Engineer will perform hands-on management of tools platforms including Science Logic, Net LineDancer, Entrust Identity Server, RSA and SysTrack. 
  • Create custom APIs for legacy components to communicate with ScienceLogic and ServiceNow 
  • Support development activities including troubleshooting and resolving issues in our production environment for assigned areas 
  • Work closely with other support teams to ensure our hosted environments are updated with latest builds and are configured appropriately for upcoming feature explorations 
  • Ensure supported environments are updated with the latest/greatest releases and properly configured to ensure various 3rd-party integration workflows are operational 
  • Build/implement necessary tooling for automation of system monitoring, configuration, and alerting 
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the various environments and ensuring ongoing tuning and operational stability 
  • Ensures processes and technical skills are in place to perform consistently and deliver high quality results and value to clients 
  • Create and update all respective documentation, SOPs, runbooks, end-user's communications, and procedures 
  • Ability to prioritize and resolve multiple complex/critical issues and provide solutions 
  • Ability to brief customers at different levels of technical understanding. 

  

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience 
  • US Citizenship required 
  • Requires an active Secret clearance 
  • Minimum 8 years of proven hands-on experience developing, deploying, integrating, configuring, and administrating of tooling platforms 
  • Minimum 8 years of experience connecting to and using a RDBMS server  
  • Minimum 8 years of experience writing and executing SQL queries 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving business issues 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience integrating Science Logic with ServiceNow ticketing systems 
  • Minimum 3 year of experience with 'monitoring platforms’ 

  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 2-3 years of experience managing infrastructure tools Entrust Identity Server, RSA and Science Logic are a plus 
  • Possesses knowledge, skills and abilities required to resolve highly complex IT issues 
  • Write clear and concise Standard Operating Procedures and processes for functional areas within IT 
  • Systematic approach to solving problems, coupled with a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills 
  • ITIL Change Management experience 
  • Strong communications and relationship skills 
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills 
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques 
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment collaborating with a dynamic team 
  • Willing to support areas of responsibility on a 24/7 basis and/or as needed 
  • Basic knowledge of Unix shell scripting 
  • Experience with ScienceLogic highly preferred

For Colorado Candidates

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is Min: $100,200 - Max: $183,800. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
