NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

 

 

  • Evaluate system effectiveness (performance, cost, operational and logistical suitability, growth capability, etc.)
  • Document, communicate and provide recommendations to the customer
  • Document Discrepancy Reports discovered in operations and/or during test events for impact assessment and priority
  • Utilize systems engineering experience to propose architectural and engineering alternatives to Senior Government personnel
  • Assess the interaction of system components (e.g. EO/IR, radar, biometric sensors, seismic sensors, chemical sensors, etc. ) in their proposed operating environments and propose optimizing approaches
  • Coordinate and participate in all Non-developmental Item (NDI) test events to include Integration Testing (IT), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Limited User Test (LUT), Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) and other test events as required
  • Identify and communicate acquisition and operational risk items to the customer and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact
  • Evaluate preliminary design and design configuration data (with defined cost, schedule, and technical risk parameters) from concept through facility implementation and operational support
  • Troubleshoot complex engineering problems such as electrical interference issues,  signal conditioning, sensor algorithm anomalies, data acquisition and control functions
  • Analyze sensor system design specifications and identify defects, design anomalies, etc
  • Evaluate complex systems and identify system anomalies, deficiencies, and non-compliances
  • Advise project team on design and engineering methodologies, tools, systems, best practices, and international standards
  • Support Project Manager Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) and Government Program Manager as requested

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years' experience in Business Analysis
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active Customs and Border Patrol Background Investigation
