We are currently seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Specialist Mid-Level with Top Secret Clearance to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

The Unified Communications (UC) Specialist Mid-Level may support the government client's UC and VOIP needs.

 

The UC Specialist Mid should meet the follow minimum requirements:

  • At least (5) years of experience on VOIP projects.
  • BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience with telecommunications services
  • Top Secret Clearance

 

Desired Certifications and Experience:

Experience resolving complex service problems.

Experience performing expert maintenance and installs, configuring and testing all types of telecommunications equipment and services.

Experience troubleshooting hardware using test instruments and monitoring and diagnostic programs.

Experience preparing communications equipment for installation by testing, calibrating, or modifying equipment as required. Experience maintaining network equipment and services to ensure working order and demand availability by performing scheduled, routine on- line test and by checking, adjusting, or replacing equipment to established standards.

Avaya Communications Manager Certification

Experience designing the space and manage where switches, cables and phones will be installed.

Secure Voice experience in the following:

Installation, maintenance and repair of secure phones (e.g. Sectera vIPER) as well as secure facsimiles for end users

Proposing new policies, configurations changes and technical upgrade paths to secure Voice Program Management.

Maintaining Inventory assets, replacements, upgrades, disposal and destruction of Secure Communications equipment.

Evaluating hardware and software to determine which products best meet operational requirements.

Providing scope of work for Communications Security (COMSEC) projects

Participating in operational testing and documentation of results and investigate, resolve technical and hardware issues

Supporting and assisting in the accomplishment of routine task directly associated with developing, advising and maintaining EKMS systems, COMSEC management and COMSEC equipment implementation.

Responding to the end-user service ticket request once the end-user has contacted the FBI Help Desk to submit a service ticket for repair of their Secure Phone, Secure Facsimile and fix the problem on site if possible.

Repairing unserviceable Secure Phones and Secure Facsimiles shipped back from FBI offices worldwide once there are no outstanding service ticket
