We are currently seeking a Entry Level Business Analyst to join our team in Albany, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

Title: Entry-Level Business Analyst

Overview of job:

The Entry-Level Business Analyst is an entry-level position supporting the NYS Department of Health Medicaid Enterprise Systems program. The candidate will work with a team providing client-facing business support services and completing projects for clients while delivering excellent business value. The Entry-Level Business Analyst will support more experienced business analyst consultants in the planning, execution and delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables to our client. This role requires 50% onsite component, Albany, NY. 

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Providing support to other higher-level QA analysts with any of the following:
• Attend business/functional area meetings; serve as scribe for these meetings
• Support development and maintenance of SharePoint sites
• Support the PMO with management (development, distribution, archival) of various project documentation
• Support business analysis, technical and data requirements and specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts testers to use for test plans.
• Research answers to business user questions
• Review and analyze business user needs and create requirements documentation
• Participate in the review, revise or create process documentation
• Review vendor analysis, design documents and code on various components of a system
• Participate in the evaluation of Disaster Recovery (DR) testing efforts, test results and ensure improvement plans are accurate
• Participate in the evaluation of Service Desk and Call Center tickets for trends, aging tickets, and recommend improvements
• Monitor/track vendor progress on system change requests using vendor status reports
• Review solution vendor system integration test results
• Prepare materials for review with state business users
• Interface with state business users and solution vendors
• Establish relationships with client at the appropriate levels
• Other duties or initiatives as assigned by program/project leadership

Required Qualifications:

• One-two years of experience in information technology business or technical analysis, testing, project management or Quality Assurance services.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree or on track to receive an associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or related field.

Preferred Qualification/Experience:

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Any current business or technical certification.
• Experience within the Healthcare Industry or Medicaid Systems environment

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this hybrid role is $64,008- $88,900. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
