We are currently seeking a Application Security Specialist to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Lead Security Architecture deep dives with the requestor of the assessment
• Prioritize risks identified in relation to business risks
• Developing configuration-as-code models that align to CICD Pipelines and SRE best practices
• Periodically review security reference architecture (security blueprints) and conduct updates/enhancements
• Participate in various Operational and Technology Risk governance processes
• Author and review security reference architecture (security blueprints)

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Cloud (Azure, AWS, etc.) and CI/CD (Git, Jenkins)
• In depth knowledge of application, network and platform security vulnerabilities.  Ability  to explain these vulnerabilities to developers
• Strong focus on reviewing technical designs and functional requirements to identify areas of Security weakness.

Experience in at least two of the following domains:

• Authentication: Multi-factor authentication, Risk based authentication, Federation
• Cloud Security, Cloud computing architecture
• Network security and proxy
• API management platforms such as APIM, Apigee, AWS API gateway or others.
• Zero Trust security model
• API gateway
• Cloud Security, Cloud computing architecture

Preferred Skills:

• Previous background in API management, networking, programming, design or application architecture.
• Excellent Azure DevOps skillset
• Experience in implementing complex systems in an enterprise environment
• Prior experience administering systems for version control (Bitbucket, Github), issue tracking (Jira), continuous integration (Jenkins, Github Actions)), or release management.
• Database design and programming experience
• Experience in conducting and / or reviewing penetration tests, dynamic vulnerability assessments and static vulnerability assessments
• Understanding of geographic regulations and their impact on Security assessments
• Previous experience in Financial Services is preferred
