We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Specialist Advisor to join our team in Arlington (REMOTE), Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior ESRI ArcGIS & SAP BusinessObjects System Administrator to support a Federal Government customer responsible for mission-critical geospatial systems, enterprise reporting platforms, and data services. The selected candidate will lead administration, operations, maintenance, and optimization of the Esri ArcGIS enterprise platform and the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence environment. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of enterprise GIS and reporting services used for geospatial analysis, operational reporting, and executive decision-making. The administrator will work closely with infrastructure teams, database administrators, developers, and program leadership to maintain and enhance these platforms in a secure federal environment while supporting modernization, performance optimization, and operational best practices.
Job Duties:
ArcGIS Platform Administration
- Administer and maintain enterprise GIS platforms including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, and Portal for ArcGIS.
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade ArcGIS components in accordance with federal change management and cybersecurity policies.
- Manage geospatial web services including map services, geoprocessing services, and hosted feature services.
- Support integration of GIS services with enterprise applications, data systems, and external geospatial data sources.
- Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for GIS infrastructure and services.
SAP BusinessObjects Administration
- Administer and maintain the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform.
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade BusinessObjects components including SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence, SAP Crystal Reports, and the SAP BusinessObjects Central Management Console.
- Manage platform security, user roles, groups, and authentication.
- Monitor and optimize report server performance, scheduling, and report distribution processes.
- Support enterprise reporting services, scheduled report jobs, and dashboard integrations.
System Operations and Maintenance
- Provide ongoing operations and maintenance support for enterprise GIS and reporting systems.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity across application servers and supporting infrastructure.
- Perform routine maintenance including patching, backups, system upgrades, and disaster recovery testing.
- Diagnose and resolve system performance issues, outages, and service disruptions.
Infrastructure and Integration
- Support deployments across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based environments.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams supporting virtualization platforms, operating systems, and enterprise storage.
- Support system integrations between geospatial platforms, enterprise reporting systems, and other mission systems.
- Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual administrative tasks.
Database and Data Management
- Support enterprise databases used by GIS and reporting platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL.
- Manage spatial databases, enterprise geodatabases, and reporting data connections.
- Support data governance practices, data integrity checks, and performance optimization.
Security and Compliance
- Implement and maintain security controls aligned with Federal cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Support vulnerability remediation, patch compliance, and system accreditation activities.
- Maintain role-based access controls and audit logging across both GIS and reporting platforms.
- Ensure systems operate in accordance with federal IT governance and operational procedures.
Collaboration and Support
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for GIS users, analysts, and reporting teams.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, project managers, and infrastructure engineers to support enterprise solutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in configuration management, change control, and operational governance processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of professional IT experience supporting enterprise application platforms.
- Minimum 7 years of experience administering GIS platforms, including Esri ArcGIS technologies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience administering Business Intelligence platforms, including SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree, One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise systems within a Federal Government agency.
- Experience with hybrid or cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with enterprise data warehouse environments or analytics platforms.
- Experience integrating GIS platforms with enterprise reporting or business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Experience administering enterprise environments including ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Experience with Windows Server system administration and enterprise application hosting environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database.
- Experience with enterprise system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with scripting or automation using Python or PowerShell.
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $105,840 - $245,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
