NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Configuration Management Analyst with Public Trust Clearance to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).



NTT DATA Federal is seeking a career oriented Configuration Management Analyst who would like to grow and move between different ITIL processes as needed.  This work is in support of a demanding Federal customer.


Configuration Management Analyst will support ongoing development of, and administration of the client's configuration management program.  They will perform work that ensures the accuracy and

completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and extends to the Configuration Management System (CMS). The person in this position works across all teams to ensure quality and accuracy within the configuration management programs while continuously improving our processes and standards.   Normal hours are core business hours.  It is possible that in the future there would be a requirement to participate in a regular on-call rotation with other service managers which would include on-call responsibilities after hours and on weekends and holidays. This position is on-site at a customer location in Arlington, VA but could be considered for remote work for the right candidate.


Configuration Management Responsibilities


Perform updates to the CMDB as needed due to changes in architecture or configuration items (CI)
Create and perform CMDB health checks 
Champion continual process improvement efforts related to configuration management 
Perform configuration audits and remediate issues to ensure the integrity of CMDB data 
Coordinate with technical SMEs and applications team to ensure consistent integrations 
Identify opportunities for and assist with automation efforts to reduce manual entries to CMDB
Provide training, support, and guidance to coworkers on established CMDB processes 
Track metrics and KPIs related to overall success and effectiveness of the configuration management program



Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of education and work experience is required




Must have Public Trust clearance 


Typically requires at least 5 years relevant experience without a Degree; 3+ years relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree; 2+ years relevant experience with Graduate Degree


Specific Skills

2+ years of experience working in a high volume, operations environment
2+ years of experience with ITIL processes in fast-paced environment
2+ years of experience communicating with customers at all levels
3+ years of customer service experience
Excellent communications skills, including the ability to write concise analysis summaries and actions reports
Strong organization skills and the ability to handle many tasks and projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
The ability to work any shift in a 24 hours x 7 days per week operation

Desired Skills

ITILv3 Foundation Certificate
Experience using ServiceNow ITSM (any version)
