We are currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Position's General Duties and Tasks

Using advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in the development and implementation of security for software programs, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of existing security processes in the development of code. This includes writing and updating software code and security processes in accordance with guidance provided in the Government’s roadmap. You will use your hands-on experience in software security assessments and documentation skills to conduct assessments and document the outcome of these assessments and communicate the outcomes to leadership. This position will be an Information Assurance Manager Level II position or Information Assurance Technical III position and may supervise others.

Basic Qualifications:

• Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to proposal submission
• 12+ years of experience in the field of Information Security, to include:
  • 1+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools and processes
  • 2+ years of experience in a software development discipline, including Java, Web services, Database, and/or web application development
  • 3+ years of experience in software security assessments and/or reviews
  • 2+ years of experience in reviewing software documentation, security findings/comments, and source code (if available) for accuracy, completeness, and associated risk.
• A Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field; Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for four (4) additional years of work experience
• Certification in one of: CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, GCED, or CCSP

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related IT field; or Bachelor's degree and 4 years of additional experience
