NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Disaster Recovery Coordinator to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

 

Responsibilities:

- Manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security, integrity, and accessibility of data, databases, and information systems
- Responsible for maintaining and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans for IT infrastructure management components
- Conducts risks analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations
- Monitors and tests the plans and backup systems including periodic and/or ad hoc disaster recovery business continuity tests (paper and live exercises)
- Coordinates with other system owners and service providers to help ensure their disaster recovery plans are in accordance with agency and government-wide standards
- Establish and maintain contacts for disaster recovery resources and support systems
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals/SLRs are met
- Responsible to fully document assigned tickets to show all work performed in order to pass SLRs

Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline. Education Substitution:  For each year of degree required, 2 years of experience may be substituted.

5-7 years of relevant experience.  

- 5+ years experience in Enterprise Disaster Recovery operations as an individual contributor
- 2+ years supervisory/management experience in Enterprise Disaster Recovery operations
