NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Information Security Policy Specialist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

 

In this position the ideal candidate will design and implement solutions for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive information. This person will be responsible to:

 

  • Evaluate the proper incorporation of security standards for information technology systems, document security programs and classified or sensitive information marking and control.
  • Research, develop and interpret security policy for information systems security, information technology research and analysis work, cyber security planning and implementation, industrial security and classified or sensitive information management programs.
  • Develop and recommend information technology security and classified or sensitive information management policies/guidelines.
  • Review requests for information security guidance or assistance.  Identify the nature of issues involved and research guidelines to identify the general policies and procedures that apply to solution.

Required Experience:

Active Secret Clearance 

  • Five (5) years of experience integrating and implementing policy, regulations and doctrine in information technology development.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with facility security management and security violation program management which would include experience with classification, declassification and protection of classified national security and other sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of the policies, instructions, regulations and guidance of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS), the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), the Office of the National Counterintelligence Executive (NCIX), the Information security Oversight Office (ISOO) or other authoritative U.S. Government sources.
  • Experience applying Security Assessment and Management tools.
  • Experience promoting security awareness and principles.

 Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or related field.

Preferred Certification:

  • CISSP certification.
