NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer (Data Architect) to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

 

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise to identify and build data-models (Logical & Physical)
- Develop data entity relationships diagrams
- Assist in designing of master data models and reference models
- Development of Metadata Registries and Management processes
- Development of data standards
- Design and implementation of data-dictionaries
- Work with governance teams to identify data governance and applicable standards
- Conduct research, develop position-papers, reports and presentations for briefings to application teams
- Work within interdisciplinary teams to ensure that organizational information exchange requirements are identified and met
- Experience and understanding of International development with some background in the international space or with companies that are involved or connected in some way with international projects similar to what USAID provides aid to – and are typically related to:
o Improving global health,
o Enhancing food security and agriculture;
o Improving environmental sustainability;
o Promoting education;
o Helping societies prevent and recover from conflicts; and
o Providing humanitarian assistance in the wake of natural and man-made disasters.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge and experience with National Information Exchange Model (NIEM)
- Knowledge and experience with the Data Management Association’s (DAMA) Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBoK)
- Knowledge and experience with the Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRIP-DM)
- Knowledge and experience with Informatica Metadata Management and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL)
- Knowledge and experience with Big Data technologies (Splunk)

Basic Qualifications:
- MA/MS and 10+ years’ experience or BA/BS and 15+ years’ experience
- Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience and hands on knowledge with data management and data architecture experience
- Demonstrated experience and hands on knowledge with Conceptual/Logical/Physical data modeling experience
- Demonstrated experience and hands on knowledge with Integration DEFinition for information modeling (IDEF1X) and Entity Relation Diagram (ERD) notation experience
