Application Management Senior Specialist

Seeking highly skilled and motivated individual with deep technical expertise in endpoint management and infrastructure operations. This position will be responsible for the administration and support of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Microsoft Intune, focusing primarily on remediating broken clients, maintaining client health, ensuring successful endpoint communication.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in PowerShell scripting, infrastructure components (DP, MP, Cloud DP, Intune connector), and advanced client troubleshooting. This position serves as a key contributor in our Endpoint Operations team and will act as a backup to the current Application Management Advisor Lead when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune environments.
• Maintain and optimize endpoint infrastructure components including Distribution Points (DP), Management Points (MP), Cloud DP's, and Intune Connectors.
• Perform advanced client troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues related to:
• Patch management failures
• Client status reporting inaccuracies
• General endpoint communication and health concerns.
• Develop and use PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and remediate MECM client health across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with endpoint management and operations teams to ensure the reliability and performance of endpoint services.
• Assist in incident response and root cause analysis related to client and patch management failures.
• Created documentation and procedures for client health remediation and best practices.
• Provide backup support to the Application Management Advisor Lead as needed.
• Professional Communication:
• Engage effectively with internal teams and customers offering timely and clear communication about client issues, remediation steps, and updates.
• Clearly communicate complex technical information in a way that non-technical stakeholders can understand.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune administration.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components: DP, MP, Cloud DP, and Intune Connector.
• Deep expertise in endpoint troubleshooting and remediation techniques.
• Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and diagnostics.
• Demonstrated experience in client health remediation and endpoint communication troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with patch management workflows and resolution of update failures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Certifications:

• Required: Must hold the Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate certification
• Preferred:
• Experience in enterprise IT environments supporting a large number of endpoints (35k+)
• Familiarity with compliance and security policies related to endpoint management.

Work Environment:

• Remote work setup. 8-5 EST business hours.

• Home office location must be within 240 miles of State of Georgia capital. 
• Requires ability to be onsite if needed for major outage or project requirements if the need arises.
• May require occasional after-hours support for critical issues or maintenance windows.

Required Skills:

Microsoft-System Center Configuration Manager/SCCM-Endpoint Protection: 5+ years exp.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is 100k to 130k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
