We are currently seeking a Banking Application Support Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

 

 

 

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION - This is a hybrid role. Candidates must live in, or live a commutable distance from Atlanta, GA.

 

Banking Application Support Analyst  

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: 3–4 days onsite)
Experience: 3+ years

 


Overview

We are seeking a Application Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for critical banking applications and payment gateway systems. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems while collaborating with global teams and stakeholders.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for business-critical applications and payment systems
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability using observability tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across SQL, Linux, and Windows environments
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and changes via ServiceNow
  • Support deployments, releases, and production validations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams for issue resolution
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on incident status and resolutions

 


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in Application/Product Support roles
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL (querying, troubleshooting)
  • 3+ years of experience in Linux and/or Windows environments
  • 1+ years of experience with monitoring/observability tools
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP and other cloud technologies (cloud fundamentals, troubleshooting)
  • 2+ years of experience using ServiceNow, or similar ITSM tools

 


Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting payment gateway or banking applications
  • Familiarity with incident management and SLA-driven environments
  • Exposure to scripting (Shell/Python) for automation
  • Understanding of distributed systems and APIs

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this hybrid role is $91,040-$113,800. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position in the Atlanta area. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.  This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
