We are currently seeking a ServiceNow IRM Lead to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

Job Description - ServiceNow IRM Lead

Integrated Risk Management (IRM) | Risk & Controls | ServiceNow Platform

Day to Day Job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

• Work closely with business stakeholders, risk teams, control owners, compliance teams, and technology partners to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow IRM solutions.
• Lead the design, configuration, development, and implementation of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) capabilities, with particular focus on Risk Management, Controls, Assessments, Issues, and related workflows.
• Configure and extend out-of-the-box ServiceNow Risk and Controls solutions while minimizing unnecessary customization and aligning implementations to platform best practices.
• Design data models, workflows, business rules, notifications, integrations, dashboards, reports, and user experiences required to support enterprise risk and control processes.
• Provide technical leadership to ServiceNow engineers, perform design/code reviews, troubleshoot complex platform issues, and guide teams on maintainable implementation patterns.
• Partner with business and technical teams through requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement activities.
• Document solution designs, configuration decisions, operational procedures, and implementation standards, and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

• Minimum 8+ years of overall IT experience, including enterprise application implementation, platform engineering, or technology consulting experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience involving configuration, development, workflow automation, integrations, administration, and production support.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow IRM / GRC capabilities in enterprise environments.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience designing and implementing risk, control, assessment, issue-management, compliance, or related governance workflows within ServiceNow.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow out-of-the-box Risk and Controls capabilities, including configuration and extension of standard IRM data models and workflows.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate solution discussions, perform design reviews, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow development/configuration concepts such as Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, notifications, reports, dashboards, and REST/SOAP integrations.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring ServiceNow engineers, reviewing technical designs, and establishing implementation standards and platform best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business, risk, compliance, architecture, and engineering teams.

Mandatory Prerequisites

• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. Candidate must be able to provide the registered email ID associated with ServiceNow certifications.
• Candidate must be able to work from US Bank office three days per week.
• Candidate should be available for an immediate start or the earliest possible joining date.

Certification Requirement / Flexibility

• Active ServiceNow IRM certification is strongly preferred and should be treated as the target qualification for the role.
• Strong hands-on IRM candidates may be considered even if the IRM certification is expired or not currently active, provided their implementation experience is strong and verifiable.
• Candidates holding active CSA and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications with strong hands-on IRM experience may also be considered, provided they are willing to complete the applicable IRM certification after selection.

Degree

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.

Nice to Have; (But not a must)

• Experience implementing ServiceNow IRM in large, regulated enterprises, particularly banking, financial services, or other highly controlled environments.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow out-of-the-box Risk and Controls solutions and the ability to recommend configuration-first approaches before custom development.
• Experience with Policy and Compliance Management, Audit Management, Vendor Risk / Third-Party Risk, Operational Risk, or Business Continuity capabilities within ServiceNow.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow IRM with enterprise data sources, identity platforms, CMDB/CSDM, security tools, reporting platforms, or downstream governance systems.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or additional ServiceNow implementation certifications.
