Chainalytics is looking for a Manager for its Transportation Practice. You will work closely with and report to a Senior Manager or Director. The primary responsibility for this position is to successfully lead, manage and deliver analysis-driven strategic and tactical advisory services to Chainalytics’ clients according to the scope and objectives of the consulting engagement.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver successful projects according to the project plan, Chainalytics’ methodology, and client expectations.
- Be the primary contact point for the client.
- Interface with the client to acquire business data, information and insight.
- Alert the client of upcoming client resource or data requirements.
- Keep the client apprised of project status.
- Develop effective and polished presentation material from analysis results for interim and final deliverables.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of all project personnel and resources.
- Identify and employ creative quantitative techniques to identify strategies for improving the profitability and overall success of the client.
- Identify and communicate ways to improve Chainalytics’ analysis tools and techniques.
- Instruct and mentor junior consultants/analysts in the techniques and methodology required to achieve the deliverable requirements.
- Via excellent communication skills, develop and maintain positive client relationships.
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in industrial engineering, operations research, supply chain management, science, math, business, or related major.
- 2+ years of working experience leading and delivering large-scale transportation sourcing projects and/or transportation management system implementations.
- 2+ years of applying optimization and/or simulation techniques to solve supply chain problems.
- 1+ years of experience developing and managing junior staff members.
- 2+ years of working with data visualization platforms like Tableau or Qlik
- 4+ years of working within Excel and PowerPoint.
- 5+ years of experience working with quantitative tools and methodology in analyzing supply chain decisions in the transportation industry.
- Willing and able to travel 20-40% based on project requirements and/or client demand.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Consulting experience.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $105,000 to $130,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
