We are currently seeking a Technical Analyst to join our team in Augusta, Maine (US-ME), United States (US).
Overview of job:
The Technical Analyst (TA) will work as part of a team providing IV&V services for client projects. The TA will actively participate in the delivery of IV&V tasks/activities and associated deliverables. This position assists the Project Manager with development of IV&V deliverables and work products and will be responsible for assisting with project management plans, technical requirements analysis, process improvement, technical system analysis, and technical system performance monitoring for the client’s solutions.
The Technical Analyst will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables, providing support for the team. In collaboration with other NTT DATA Government Consulting and Advisory (GCA) consultants, the selected candidate will work as part of the project team to support the analysis, planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of key projects that are technical in nature to help the client achieve organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Assess vendor deliverables from a technical perspective, including but not limited to: Project Management Plan and Schedule, Certification/Compliance Checklist(s) and related artifacts and evidence, Requirements documentation, Design documentation, Data Conversion Plans, Testing Plans and associated results, User Documentation, Training Plans, Implementation Strategies, Implementation and Rollout Plans, Test Cases and Results, and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plans.
- Assess and make recommendations on the management and technical aspects of system implementation projects.
- Evaluate technical feasibility of project schedule.
- Provide technical advisory support.
- Assess and advise on Service Oriented Architecture requirements (SOA).
- Review and assess system scalability (capacity).
- Support IV&V and Quality Assurance (QA) activities.
- Identify and recommend system efficiencies.
- Assists in code evaluation.
- Evaluates and advises regarding software and hardware components.
- Assesses and reports on Data Quality/Data Exchange/Integration.
- Provides advisory support for Database Software and Database design determinations.
- Assess whether the State and the solution vendor(s) share a common understanding of the project scope, goals/outcomes/requirements, deliverables, and milestones.
- Assess whether user involvement and buy-in is sufficient for successful adoption of the system or component.
- Document detailed findings, risks, and recommended risk mitigation approaches, considering best practices and lessons learned from other similar projects.
- Supports compliance management and assessment activities.
- Supports reporting activities across the project.
- Provides support for Job Control.
- Supports strategic procurements and provides advisory support.
- Perform user acceptance testing if required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years total work experience.
- Minimum 4 years work experience in a technical or technical analyst role/capacity.
- Undergraduate degree in business, health care, information systems or related field or 4 years additional relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Software development life cycle experience (waterfall, agile, hybrid).
- Medicaid program or solution experience.
- Consulting experience
- Experience working in a remote working environment.
- Experience with technical operations in a multi-vendor environment.
- Experience managing system interfaces in a multi-vendor environment.
- Experience interacting with Federal agencies regarding system performance, backup and disaster recovery, security compliance, and other technical aspects of a solution.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $79,920 - $127,900. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
