Job Overview:

NTTDATA State, Local and Education Division is looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Director of Services Delivery & Support to provide strategic direction, organizational people leadership, and tactical execution of the development, delivery. The candidate will deliver a great business partnership experience with the agencies and external customers while driving the transformation activities towards the goals of NTTDATA. A critical area of focus for this role is to identify, modify and execute practices to provide efficient operations to deliver the highest business value through effective management of IT resources (people, finances, services) and collaborate closely with other Senior Leaders to integrate highly valued IT services and solutions.


This leader will be customer-oriented, work with a high sense of urgency, and focus on quality, value, and timely delivery. You will direct the technical execution of multiple, concurrent solutions while adhering to software development lifecycle standards and creating a great employee experience. You will provide expertise in the form of organizational and people leadership, technical advisory services, design, and development including resource management, appropriate documentation, code reviews, release management, security and accessibility compliance with our standards, and technical support for platform-based solutions. The Senior Delivery Director will report to the COO/CTO for SLED.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

Serving alongside a Senior Account Director and team to establish enterprise strategic direction and policies; identify areas of opportunity for improved productivity and efficiency by maintaining a high level of technical and management knowledge.

  • Providing senior executive-level expertise and technical guidance to major, large-scale innovation programs and projects.
  • Collaborating across cross-functional organizations to identify opportunities to leverage common strategies, workstreams, and solutions as well as extend the adoption of statewide standards.
  • Partnering with appropriate finance and budget teams to direct allocations, understand organizational financial health, and respond to budgetary requests and challenges as delegated.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years minimum of overall application development and cloud transformation and data center experience with in-depth experience in the project development life cycle from design to implementation and delivery.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing and developing people in technical teams.
  • Eight (8) years of experience delivering Service Oriented Architectures.
  • Eight (8) years of experience managing in-house, cloud, and vendor managing large portfolio of IT Services.
  • 5 years working within Public Sector and Government Agencies, as well as customer interfacing roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Prior experience with large-scale delivery service management.
  • Prior experience with executive level stakeholder management.
  • This position may require on-call duties as needed by the position.
  • This role may require travel up to 25%
  • The candidate must be willing to locate in Austin TX
  • Project Manager Certification
  • Certification from one of the Large-Scale Cloud Management Platforms
  • ITIL V4 Certification
  • Windows or Linux OS Certification within the last 5 years
  • Cloud Management Experience of Certification within AWS, MS Azure and Google Cloud Management Platforms
