Mandatory Skillset:
- Minimum 5 years in software testing, with a strong focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Must have Banking US Domain Experience
- Must have atleast 3 years of experience in Testing Web Applications (Java/.NET)
- Must have atleast 1 years of experience in Testing of COBOL / Mainframe applications
- Proficient in using tools such as Rally, Jira, ALM, or equivalent platforms for test planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Basic proficiency in SQL for data validation and test data preparation
- Very good verbal and written communication skills; proactive in raising issues, sharing observations, and seeking clarifications during meetings
- Quick learner with the ability to understand new applications, systems, and business process flows efficiently
- Basic understanding of the credit card domain or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to domain-specific knowledge
- Capable of supporting multiple applications and comprehending end-to-end business and technical workflows
- Strong focus on accuracy in test execution and documentation; ability to identify and articulate potential issues effectively
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, actively participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Skilled in preparing and maintaining triage documentation and knowledge base articles for both new and existing applications
- Proven ability to work closely with clients, business analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements and contribute to the design of quality solutions

- Very good communication and articulation skills
- High attention to detail and quality orientation
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
- Prior experience in Testing of large banking programs/projects
 
Other Job Requirements:
- Willingness to work from the Global Village campus in Bangalore
- Flexibility to work in US shift hours, specifically:
- 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM IST (equivalent to 4:30 AM to 2:00 PM EST)
- IST shift timings will be adjusted in accordance with Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes
- Hybrid work model: Required to work in office 3 days per week
- Must be ready to work full-time from the office during the initial transition phase (approximately 2 months)
