Data Engineer – Data Quality & Snowflake

Position: Data Engineer – Data Quality
Experience: 3 to 6 Years
Location: Gurugram – Hybrid

Work type: 3 days weekly from Office

Contract Duration: 01 October 2026 to 30 September 2027

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, SQL, ETL development, and Data Quality implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, implementing data quality controls, and supporting analytics and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Build and support scalable data solutions on Snowflake.
• Implement and monitor data quality rules, validations, reconciliations, and controls.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and quality monitoring.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Support Power BI reporting and ensure high-quality data availability for analytics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues across the data lifecycle.
• Participate in data governance and documentation activities.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong SQL development expertise.
• Experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline implementation.
• Expertise in Data Transformation and Data Modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Power BI, including:
• Data Modeling and Report Development
• Performance Optimization
• Experience with Data Quality frameworks, validation rules, and monitoring.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Collibra Data Governance Platform.
• Data Catalog and Metadata Management.
• Data Governance practices and standards.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global team environment.
