Financial Reporting and Planning

Role Overview

Build, enhance and support Anaplan models for financial reporting and planning under the guidance of the implementation lead. Work with finance users to deliver accurate calculations, useful reporting and reliable day to day model operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate approved functional requirements into Anaplan model components and user experiences.
• Configure lists, modules, formulas, line items, hierarchies, imports, exports and actions.
• Build dashboards and reporting views for financial performance, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Load and validate finance data; investigate reconciliation differences with finance and integration teams.
• Perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing and resolve defects and model issues.
• Maintain model documentation, support user queries and contribute to releases and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands on experience building or supporting Anaplan models used for financial reporting or planning.
• Working knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and actual versus budget reporting.
• Understanding of Anaplan dimensionality, formulas, data imports and exports, and user access concepts.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to data accuracy and the ability to communicate with business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Anaplan model builder certification; participation in an implementation project and exposure to ERP finance data.
