Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Finance Functional Consultant with deep functional expertise in Fixed Assets (FA) and Project Financial Management (PFM) to support CTD post-production activities.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Oracle Financials experience, including strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations and production support. The consultant will serve as an SME for Oracle Fusion FA and PFM, leading functional solution design, configuration, integrations, testing, data migration, financial close, troubleshooting, and post-production support.

The role requires strong understanding of end-to-end asset and project financial processes, particularly Projects-to-Fixed Assets integration, along with solid knowledge of GL, SLA, AP, project costing, capitalization, accounting, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support for Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets (FA) across the complete asset lifecycle, including:
  • Asset additions and capitalization
  • Depreciation
  • Asset transfers and adjustments
  • Retirements
  • Asset accounting and reconciliation
  • Period-end processing
• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Project Financial Management (PFM), including:
  • Project setup and financial structures
  • Project Costing
  • Project Billing
  • Project Control
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Project capitalization
  • Project accounting and reporting
• Design and support end-to-end project financial processes from project creation and costing through billing, capitalization, accounting, reconciliation, and financial close.
• Configure and support Projects-to-Fixed Assets integration, including project asset creation, capitalization, asset transfers, accounting, and reconciliation.
• Manage FA integrations with Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Projects, SLA, and other Oracle Financials modules.
• Provide functional leadership across FA, PFM, GL, SLA, and AP.
• Apply strong Subledger Accounting (SLA) knowledge across Fixed Assets, Projects, Payables, and General Ledger.
• Support period-end and financial close activities, including reconciliation between Projects, FA, SLA, and GL.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Project Management, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
• Lead business workshops, fit-gap assessments, solution design sessions, and configuration walkthroughs.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scenarios/scripts, training materials, and implementation documentation.
• Support FA and PFM data conversions and migrations using FBDI and ADFdi.
• Define functional requirements, data mappings, and interface specifications for project, asset, and financial integrations.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP services, FBDI, and other Oracle integration capabilities.
• Lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across FA, PFM, SLA, GL, AP, and related Oracle Financials processes.
• Develop and validate reporting requirements using OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting, and Fusion Analytics.
• Use SQL for data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and reporting support.
• Recommend Oracle Fusion best practices and process improvements while minimizing unnecessary customizations.
• Work closely with functional, technical, business, project management, and Oracle Support teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
• Serve as the Oracle Fusion FA & PFM SME, providing functional leadership, solution governance, and guidance to project and support teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–20 years of overall Oracle Financials ERP experience, with significant hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• 8+ years of strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets (FA).
• 8+ years of strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Project Financial Management (PFM).
• Hands-on experience with Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Control, budgeting, forecasting, and capitalization.
• Strong understanding of the complete Fixed Assets lifecycle, including additions, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, adjustments, and retirements.
• Strong hands-on experience with Projects-to-Fixed Assets integration and capitalization.
• Good functional knowledge of GL, SLA, AP, and related Oracle Financials modules.
• Strong understanding of Subledger Accounting (SLA) and financial accounting flows from Projects/FA/AP through GL.
• Experience with period-end close, financial reconciliation, and accounting troubleshooting.
• Experience with FBDI and ADFdi for data conversion, migration, and bulk data processing.
• Understanding of OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, and Oracle Fusion integration patterns.
• Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting, and/or Fusion Analytics.
• Good hands-on SQL skills for data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Strong experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, process flows, and training documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant who is genuinely hands-on in both Fixed Assets and Project Financial Management, rather than a general Oracle Finance consultant with only limited exposure to these modules.

Particular preference should be given to candidates who can demonstrate recent Oracle Fusion Cloud experience with Project Costing → Project Asset Creation → Capitalization → Fixed Assets → SLA → GL accounting and reconciliation, as this represents a critical end-to-end capability for the role.
