We are currently seeking a Application Performance Monitoring & Observability Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

7+ Years of experience in Enterprise Monitoring, Observability, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), and Monitoring Platform Administration.
3. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Performance Monitoring & Observability Engineer to lead the administration, governance, automation, and optimization of enterprise monitoring platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AppDynamics administration, enterprise observability practices, monitoring strategy design, and automation. This role will focus on ensuring end-to-end visibility across applications, infrastructure, and customer journeys while enabling proactive incident detection and operational excellence.
4. In This Role, You Will
- Administer and manage AppDynamics and SPLOC monitoring platforms across enterprise environments.
- Design and implement enterprise monitoring and observability strategies aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Configure and maintain application performance monitoring solutions to ensure optimal application health and performance.
- Develop and manage alerting, event correlation, and incident detection mechanisms to improve operational efficiency.
- Establish monitoring governance standards, platform configurations, and best practices.
- Create automated monitoring workflows using Python scripting and automation frameworks.
- Implement monitoring-as-code approaches to improve scalability and consistency of monitoring deployments.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable operational insights.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams to define monitoring requirements and service health indicators.
- Support root cause analysis through correlation of logs, metrics, traces, and application telemetry.
- Enhance customer journey visibility through Glassbox monitoring and digital experience analytics.
- Contribute to observability modernization initiatives incorporating AI/GenAI-powered operational capabilities.
5. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise monitoring, observability, and APM platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with AppDynamics Administration.
- Experience in SPLOC Administration and platform management.
- Expertise in Enterprise Monitoring and Observability frameworks and best practices.
- Strong understanding of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) concepts and implementation.
- Experience with Alerting and Event Management processes and tools.
- Knowledge of Monitoring Strategy, Architecture, and Design principles.
- Experience managing Platform Configuration and Governance standards.
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting for monitoring automation and integrations.
- Experience developing Monitoring Automation solutions and workflows.
- Understanding of observability concepts including logs, metrics, traces, and service telemetry.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Glassbox Monitoring and digital experience analytics.
- Knowledge of Customer Journey Observability and user experience monitoring.
- Understanding of GenAI concepts for IT Operations (AIOps/Observability).
- Experience working with log, metric, and trace telemetry platforms.
- Expertise in dashboarding and visualization tools.
- Exposure to cloud-native monitoring and observability platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and automation practices.
- Relevant certifications in AppDynamics, Observability, Monitoring, Cloud Platforms, or IT Operations.
