We are currently seeking a BI Developer (Power BI) to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Duties: Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and building reporting capabilities in Microsoft Azure using Power Platform (PowerBI) and working with the Snowflake embedded Streamlit framework. The wider programme of work being undertaken by the team is to build and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 and a Snowflake platform to ingest Defined Benefit Pension Schemes and facilitate their conversion into Insurance products. A large number of schemes are expected to be processed. There is a requirement to monitor and report on the build and then the conversion process itself during the lifecycle. This role is to build and maintain those reports. Key Responsibilities - With aid from the wider project team: Understand and interpret requirements for reporting on all stages of a pension scheme lifecycle from acquisition, through data load, transition, transformation and then data load into the target system. - Design the small scale components and data flows needed, and build suitable reporting capability in Snowflake and Microsoft Power Platform to meet the requirements. - Maintain high quality code and documentation using suitable tooling as provided by the project. Minimum Skills Required: Required Skills and Qualifications - 3+ years of experience with PowerBI - 3+ years of Python (ideally Streamlit) development experience - Experience in Azure cloud services - Strong experience with Python - Excellent understanding of data reporting - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically - Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts both directly and through documentation - Strong use of version control and proven ability to govern a team in the best practice use of version control - Experience with Snowflake hosted solutions would be beneficial
