Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pega System Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Pega application development, case management, workflow automation, and system integration. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement business applications using the Pega Platform.

• Configure and customize Pega workflows, case types, user interfaces, decision rules, and business processes.

• Develop reusable components and ensure adherence to Pega Guardrails and best practices.

• Integrate Pega applications with external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and messaging services.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Participate in application architecture, design discussions, and technical solution reviews.

• Support application deployments, production releases, and issue resolution.

• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and implementation artifacts.

• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8-12 years of experience in Pega application development.

• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification is mandatory.

• Strong hands-on experience with Pega Infinity Platform (8.x or later).

• Experience in designing and developing case management and BPM solutions.

• Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC architecture, rules, flows, UI development, data pages, and integrations.

• Experience integrating Pega with external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and web services.

• Understanding of Pega Guardrails and application performance optimization.

• Experience with relational databases and SQL.

• Knowledge of Java concepts and object-oriented programming.

• Experience with source code management tools such as Git.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.

• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or Healthcare domains.

• Exposure to Customer Service, CRM, or Digital Process Automation solutions.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) and intelligent automation solutions.
