We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Description: Databricks Architect

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Databricks Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our data and analytics ecosystem on the Databricks platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud data engineering, big data processing, advanced analytics, and modern data architecture. This role will be responsible for defining architectural standards, ensuring scalability, and enabling advanced data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design
  * Design end-to-end scalable data solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Spark.
  * Define standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for Databricks implementations.
  * Architect real-time, near-real-time, and batch data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Data Engineering & Development
  * Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Python/Scala, and SQL.
  * Implement data quality, lineage, and observability frameworks.
  * Develop and maintain reusable templates, components, and accelerators.
Cloud Integration
  * Integrate Databricks with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their native services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, BigQuery, etc.).
  * Ensure proper security, authentication, and role-based access control in Databricks.
  * Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines for Databricks workflows.
Leadership & Collaboration
  * Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand use cases and design optimal solutions.
  * Mentor and guide data engineers on Databricks best practices and performance tuning.
  * Act as the subject matter expert for Databricks within the organization.
Required Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in data engineering, big data, or cloud data platforms.
* Proven expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
* Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Scala.
* Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
* Strong understanding of data modeling, lakehouse architecture, and distributed systems.
* Experience with data governance, data security, and compliance practices.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional or Certified Solutions Architect certification.
* Knowledge of BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, etc.).
* Experience in leading the enterprise-scale data architecture initiatives.
* Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in cloud and analytics.
