We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

 data visualization, business intelligence, and specifically in migrating from BusinessObjects (BOXI) to Power BI. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that convert business data into actionable insights. Working with SEI environment moving BO universe to PowerBI is must.

Key Responsibilities:

Migration Expertise: Lead the migration process from BOXI to Power BI, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualizations and reports using Power BI.
Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models to support efficient business performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
DAX Functions: Utilize advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) functions to perform complex calculations and enhance data insights.
Integration: Integrate Power BI reports into other applications to provide enhanced business capabilities.
Performance Optimization: Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality and performance of BI solutions.
Documentation: Document processes, methodologies, and best practices for future reference and training purposes.

1.    Data warehousing principles
2.    Deployment Strategies
3.    Large Volume Handling
4.    Managing incremental refresh
5.    Setting up aggregations
6.    Handling the APIs
7.    Full lifecycle management of Power BI tools including extended tools like Tabular Editor
8.    DAX Studio
9.    Microsoft Fabric
10.    Microsoft copilot integration
11. Experience in Snowflake

Technical Proficiency: 
Strong expertise in Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile.
Migration Experience: Proven experience in migrating from BOXI to Power BI.
Data Analysis: Excellent understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and data transformation.
DAX Functions: Proficiency in DAX functions for complex calculations.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions.
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar certifications are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or MicroStrategy.
Familiarity with SQL and database management.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
