We are currently seeking a C++, C# Developer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Position Title - C++ / C# Developer

Experience Required – 5+ Years

Location – Work from ThermoFisher Client Office(Whitefield, Bangalore), 3 days a week


Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled C++ / C# Developer with 4–6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining desktop and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C++, C#, MFC, COM, Qt, and WPF, along with hands-on experience in unit testing frameworks such as NUnit and Google Test/Google Mock (GTest/GMock).

The candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions, contributing to software architecture, implementing robust testing practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Medical Devices, or Pharmaceuticals will be an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using C++ and C#.
  • Develop and support desktop applications using MFC, Qt, and WPF frameworks.
  • Implement and maintain software components using COM-based architectures.
  • Participate in software design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
  • Develop unit and integration tests using NUnit, GTest, and GMock.
  • Ensure software quality through adherence to coding standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA teams, System Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and software release activities.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test artifacts.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of strong programming expertise in:
    • C++
    • C#
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with:
    • MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes)
    • COM (Component Object Model)
    • Qt Framework
    • WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
  • 3+ years of strong understanding of:
    • Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Design Patterns
    • Multithreading and Concurrency Concepts
    • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Version Control Systems (Git, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with unit testing frameworks:
    • NUnit
    • Google Test (GTest)
    • Google Mock (GMock)
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Testing (MBT) tools such as Axini.
  • Exposure to formal methods and model-driven development tools including:
    • Dezyne
    • ASD (Analytical Software Design)
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development practices.
  • Understanding of software verification and validation processes in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in one or more of the following domains will be considered a strong advantage:

  • Healthcare Software
  • Medical Devices / IVD (In-Vitro Diagnostics)
  • Pharmaceutical Software Systems
  • Regulated Product Development Environments (FDA, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, GxP, etc.)

  • Experience working with distributed/global development teams.
