We are currently seeking a Corporate Development Sr. Spclst Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Job Title: Director, Corporate Development
NTT DATA's Corporate Development team partners with executive leadership and business unit heads to drive the company's long-term growth strategy. We achieve this by identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisitions and investments that shape the future of our business.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Development as we continue to build out the team as part of a high performing group that partners with Senior leaders to execute its strategic agenda on the global basis. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the M&A lifecycle, from strategy formation and target identification to deal execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, including investment strategy, target sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring, and execution.
- Build and manage comprehensive financial models to assess investments including valuation, synergy analysis via discounted cash flow (DCF), accretion/dilution, scenario, sensitivity and ROI/IRR analysis
- Partner with key business unit leaders and senior leadership to assess investment opportunities
- Contributes to the inorganic growth strategy of NTT Data, through a deep understanding of Technology Services and Technology Ecosystem
- Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline by cultivating relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and industry founders.
- Lead and manage project teams across diligence process and coordinating with cross-functional internal teams (Finance, Legal, HR, IT) and external advisors (accountants, lawyers, bankers).
- Lead deal structuring and negotiations on behalf of NTT DATA to ensure favorable terms and successful outcomes.
- Drive the strategic narrative and business case for each transaction, presenting clear investment theses and synergy assessments to executive stakeholders
Basic Requirements:
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate these required skills:
- 5+ years experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Consulting or Finance & Accounting (with a focus on Corporate Transactions)
- Proven track record of successfully leading M&A transactions from sourcing to close, particularly within the technology sector.
- Deep expertise in building and managing complex financial modeling and conducting valuation analysis.
- Proactive and self-driven with ability to work in high growth / fast paced environment, managing multiple projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and build consensus with senior executives.
- An established network of relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and other key players in the consulting and IT services space.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- MBA or an advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
