We are currently seeking a Data & Intelligence Practise Lead to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Title: Data and Intelligence - Offshore Practice Lead

Position Overview: The UK based Data and Intelligence practice is seeking to build a permanent and ringfenced presence offshore to provide expertise and capacity in delivery data and intelligence projects across a range of clients.

We are seeking a high performing technical manager and administrator to act as the figurehead and offshore decision maker for the Data and Intelligence Offshore Extended Practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Hiring and onboarding people into the D&I Offshore extended practice
• Managing the D&I Offshore extended practice – staff allocation, facilitating teams with administrative, operational , delivery and technical challenges
• Project resourcing, performance management, staff development plans and training
• Weekly status reporting for the D&I Offshore extended practice
• Supporting D&I presales, including solution design, scoping, effort estimation and planning, leading to commercials for all offshore work

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in data engineering

- 5+ years leading a technical team of engineers

- 3+ years leading multiple teams and balancing resources across competing priorities

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

- Ability to direct and facilitate projects across a wide range of current data technologies

- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Strong understanding of Agile and proven ability to govern a team in the best practice use of Agile methodologies

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
