We are currently seeking a Data Center Administrator to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

A Data Center Administrator oversees the physical and virtual infrastructure of a data center, ensuring its reliability and performance by managing servers, storage, network devices, and physical security. Key responsibilities include system monitoring, hardware installation and maintenance, troubleshooting network and server issues, managing access, executing upgrades, and maintaining detailed documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, problem-solving skills, and often involves collaborating with other IT teams to maintain seamless data center operations and support business demands. Responsibilities  Operational support: Provide 24/7 operational support for data center infrastructure, ensuring continuous uptime and reliability.  Infrastructure management: Manage the full lifecycle of data center hardware, including receiving, racking, maintaining, and decommissioning servers, storage, and networking equipment. This also includes overseeing capacity planning, power usage, cooling, and space allocation.  Performance monitoring: Monitor system performance, and environmental conditions (e.g., power, cooling, humidity) to ensure optimal operation and uptime.  Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools to minimize downtime.  Patching and upgrades: Schedule and coordinate Firmware patching, hardware maintenance, and upgrades to servers and network infrastructure.  Backup: weekly backup exchange Taps for business continuity.  Security: Enforce physical and ensure compliance with security policies.  Vendor coordination: Work with external vendors for equipment delivery, repairs, and support.  Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation of data center configurations, operational procedures, processes, and asset inventory. Vulnerability  Vulnerability Analyzing scan results, assessing business and technology risks, and producing reports and metrics on findings and remediation status for management.  Mitigation & Remediation Coordination: Collaborating with internal teams (IT, infrastructure, application owners) to ensure timely and eAective patching, configuration fixes, and other remediation eAorts.  Documentation: Maintaining detailed records, trackers, and documentation related to vulnerabilities and their remediation. ServiceNow - IT Service Management (ITSM) •Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform. •Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) Qualifications and skills A successful data center administrator, a combination of technical knowledge, practical, and professional certifications. Technical skills:  Proficiency installing Windows and Linux server operating systems.  knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.  Familiarity with server hardware from vendors like Dell, HP, Super Micro and Cisco, Mellanox.  Expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.  Experience with storage solutions, including SAN and NAS.  Understanding data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools, power systems (UPS, PDUs, PAC).  Backup and recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity  Virtual infrastructure: virtual environments, including installation, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of technologies like VMware and Hyper-V. Soft skills:  Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non technical teams.  attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and configurations.  The ability to work eAectively under pressure during service incidents.  A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
